Safer Roof Access for an award winning development.
When designing this new, mixed-use premise in Newton, the architects (Crosson Clarke Carnachan Architects & Tonkin Zulaika Greer Architects in association, and Dave Pearson Architects) predesigned safer, easier roof access to both building blocks using Sellwood roof access systems.
The systems incorporate Sellwood commercial retractable ladders, Sellwood roof hatches and roof hatch barriers. Sellwood also installed edge protection to the roof edge to prevent the risk of falling as the roof hatch is exited.
