Residential Attic Ladder Limited Warranty
As well as any warranties or conditions implied by applicable Statute or Regulation, Sellwood Products Ltd provides the following warranties on attic ladders from the date of purchase:
- Sellwood Attic Ladders – 15 years for residential applications
- Foldaway Attic Ladders - 5 years for residential applications
Sellwood Products Ltd undertakes, at its option, to repair or replace, free of charge, each product or part thereof on condition that:
- An approved Sellwood agent inspects the attic ladder.
- The attic ladder has been installed and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines.
- The attic ladder has not been subjected to misuse, neglect or been involved in an accident.
- The attic ladder has not been subjected to overuse. Overuse for residential applications is defined as the attic ladder being operated more than one time per week on average over the duration of the warranty period.
- The repairs are not required as a result of normal wear and tear.
Sellwood Products Ltd cannot be held responsible for any repair other than those carried out by it, or one of its approved agents.
