The Regular Range are the original Sellwood attic ladders.
The Sellwood R36 is suitable for residential use for ceiling heights 3100mm to 3660mm, common in villa style homes built from the 1880s through to the 1920s. They are most often used to access storage space in the attic.
Given the height of the R36, Sellwood incorporated a number of unique design features including cam shaped upper stays and a second stage spring system to take the weight of the bottom two sections of the ladder as they are being unfolded and folded back up again, allowing for easier operation.
