Sellwood Regular Range
It is Sellwood’s vision that every new home built in New Zealand be equipped with a folding attic ladder that allows the home owner safe, easy access to the storage space in their attic.
The Regular Range is designed for access to attic storage space in a domestic situation where
it will receive occasional use. The Regular Range stairs are comfortable stairs with larger
openings and safety handrails. The stairs are simple to use and come fully assembled, ready
for installation. 
Sellwood Regular 27 (R27) Attic Stairs
Most homes built in the last 50 years have a floor to ceiling
height of between 2400mm to 2750mm. The Sellwood Regular
27 (R27) is the most popular attic stair for this application
given its size and adaptable height (the R27 can be cut as short
as 2250mm if required.) The R27 is Sellwood’s largest selling
stair, and provides safe easy access to attic storage in most
domestic applications.

Sellwood Regular 31 (R31) Attic Stairs
The Sellwood Regular 31 (R31) has the same specifications as
the R27, but can reach a floor to ceiling height of 3100mm,
common to homes built in the 1920s and 1930s.

Sellwood Regular 36 (R36) Attic Stairs
The Sellwood Regular 36 (R36) is designed for ceiling heights up to 3660mm, common in
homes built between the 1880s and 1920s. These homes often have little storage space at
ground level, but vast areas available above the ceiling, areas made even more convenient by
high-pitched roofs. Given the height that the stair must ascend to, Sellwood incorporated a
number of unique design features into the R36 including a cam shaped upper stay and a
second stage spring system to take the weight of the bottom two sections of the stair as they
are being unfolded and folded back up again, making for easier operation.
