Sellwood Junior 24 Attic StairsIt is Sellwood’s vision that every new home built in New Zealand be equipped with a folding attic ladder that allows the home owner safe, easy access to the storage space in their attic. The Sellwood Junior 24 (J24) is Sellwood’s economy stair, designed for builders who are looking to reduce costs while incorporating attic storage into their newly built homes. A narrower stair with a smaller opening, the J24 will reach a floor to ceiling height of 2440mm. The J24 is designed for access to attic storage space in a domestic situation where it will receive only occasional use. The stair is simple to use and comes fully assembled, ready for installation. The J24 does not have a handrail. NB: When presented with both options, most attic stair users will choose the Sellwood R27 over the J24 because of the R27’s larger opening and handrail.
